Message from the Mission Director
 |
Dear Friends,
I would like to express my gratitude for your generosity in helping the Salesian Missions. In spite of the financial restraints, the Salesian Missions is blessed by good friends like you. How grateful we are you never get tired of our appeals. |
Donations have dwindled so much lately. The economic uncertainty, the political instability, the rising cost of prime commodities, and the implementation of the E-VAT has cast its toll on the giving capacity of our benefactors. We have been feeling the crunch.
But the need remains clear and ever present: there are mouths to be fed, kids to be clothed, scholars to be sent to school, children to be pulled out of the streets and seminarians to be sent in formation. We desperately need to increase the amount of money that we raise through our appeals. Can we count on you to do more?
You have been very generous with us and our only way of thanking you is to keep you always in our prayers. Once again: I earnestly ask you to make a generous gift to our 2006 appeals. The need is great and your generosity allows the SALESIAN MISSIONS to continue to reach out to the young.
Please keep me in your prayers and know that you are always remembered in mine.
May God continue to bless you and your loved ones with His peace and joy.
Faithfully yours in Don Bosco,

Missions Director
